Das Queere Netzwerk NRW ist der landesweite Fach- und Dachverband der LSBTQIA*-Selbsthilfe mit mehr als 80 Mitgliedsgruppen aus ganz NRW. Wir bieten Vernetzung, Bildung, Beratung und Empowerment zu Themen sexueller und geschlechtlicher Vielfalt für Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Das Projekt "Q_munity: Rassismuskritik & Empowerment für die queere Jugendarbeit" ist seit 2016 ein Teil des Queeren Netzwerks NRW. Die Kernarbeit des Projekts Q_munity besteht in der Professionalisierung und Sensibilisierung zu den Themen LSBTQIA* und Flucht, Migration und Rassismus. Gleichzeitig schafft das Projekt NRW-weit geschützte Räume und bietet Empowerment-Workshops für Multiplikator*innen sowie Beratung und Fortbildungen für Fachkräfte an.
Wir suchen zum 01.04.2024 eine engagierte Studentische Hilfskraft für das Projekt Q_munity (d/w/m/offen, 20 Std./Woche).
Der Status als Student*in ist Voraussetzung und unmittelbar an den Arbeitsvertrag geknüpft. Die Stelle ist zunächst befristet bis zum 31.12.2024. Eine Weiterbeschäftigung ist bei entsprechenden öffentlichen Förderungen gewünscht und vorgesehen.
Aufgaben:
- Assistenz bei der Planung, Durchführung, Vor- und Nachbereitung von Veranstaltungen und Workshops
- Organisatorische Tätigkeiten wie Recherchen, Büroorganisation usw.
- Betreuung von Social Media Kanälen
- Kommunikation mit regionalen Projekten und Kooperationspartner*innen, ggf. Verfassen von Texten für die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
- Teilnahme an Teamsitzungen und Reflexionsgesprächen
Wir erwarten:
- Sensibilität für Lebenswelten queerer Jugendlicher im Kontext von Rassismus und/oder Antisemitismus, Migration/Flucht
- Eine macht- und rassismuskritische Haltung sowie intersektionales Denken und Handeln
- Erfahrungen in der Redaktion und Pflege von Webseiten (WordPress) und Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Canva) wünschenswert
- Eigenverantwortliches und strukturiertes Arbeiten

The Queeres Netzwerk NRW is the state-wide professional and umbrella organisation for LGBTQIA* self-organizing with more than 80 member groups from all over NRW. We offer networking, education, counselling and empowerment on topics of sexual and gender diversity for North Rhine-Westphalia. The project "Q_munity: Anti-Racism & Empowerment for Queer Youth Work" has been part of the Queeres Netzwerk NRW since 2016. The core work of the Q_munity project consists of professionalising and raising awareness on the topics of LGBTQIA* and flight, migration and racism. At the same time, the project creates saferspaces throughout NRW and offers empowerment workshops for multipliers as well as counselling and further training for professionals.
From 01.04.2024 we are looking for a dedicated Student Assistant for the Project Q_munity (d/w/m/open, 20 Hours/Week).
Student status is a prerequisite and is directly linked to the employment contract. The position is initially limited until 31 December 2024, and further employment is desired and planned with appropriate public funding.
Tasks:
- Assistance with the planning, realisation, preparation and follow-up of events and workshops
- Organisational activities such as research, office organisation, etc.
- Support for social media channels
- Communication with regional projects and cooperation partners, if necessary writing texts for public relations work
- Participation in team meetings and reflection talks
Skills:
- Awareness of the realities of queer young people in the context of racism and/or anti-Semitism, flight/migration
- An attitude critical of power and racism as well as intersectional thinking and action
- Experience in editing and maintaining websites (WordPress) and social media (Instagram, Canva) is desirable
- Independent and structured working style
